Positive: Great location and a lovely, well equipped, and comfortable villa. Very peaceful and very relaxing, with fantastic views over the sea. Nikos, the owner, could not be more helpful. Available at the end of the phone if needed, but just as happy to let you chill.
Negative: The villa is at the end of an unsurfaced road, with lots of potential holes. It's not a problem in itself but demands a bit of caution in a car. The driveway to the villa is very steep and would not suit someone of limited mobility.

Positive: Wonderful location and views. Beautiful villa, lovely history and everything you need is provided.
Negative: Difficult to find for the taxi driver - I think the location is wrongly labelled on booking.com so be mindful of this. The host was in touch with us so it was fine. A car is a good idea but you can walk to a nearby taverna which is lovely.

Positive: The house is placed on a countryside area and many parts of the island are like that. So coming from town, the asphalt stops at one point, but it is no problem reaching the destination. The property is great, with a few places to sit outside and plenty of space inside, we can consider it actually as two separate houses one on top of the other, each with one bedroom, one living room, kitchen and bathroom. The entrances are completely separate and there is no relation (communication) between the two through the inside. The top house has got a wide terrace facing the sea and the morning sun. In the top house there is something like a very small attic where 2 beds are installed, but the acces is on a removable ladder and the available height is there very limited. It can be used by children, but not too little I would say, thinking of safety reasons climbing up and down the ladder... Each living room had at least one sofa bed, we didn't try them, as we were 4 persons, but they looked reliable. Inside we could find small details in decorations quite interesting, For example, there was an old time small reading bed next to the window... Around the house we could find another terrace next to a barbeque place. The top kitchen had a dishwashing machine, the bottom bathroom had a laundry washing machine. As more then half of our stay was during the Daniel Storm, at least one complete day we spent in the villa, and we didn't feel anything missing. We cooked, ate... etc. In the same time the Skiathos town faced floods, electricity blackouts, but we had no problems, except the WIFI disappeared when the storm intensified and never came back.
Negative: The only minus I would mention was the lack of soap bars (or liquid soap) in both of the houses. It is true that we found some small shower gel bottles (hotel-like kind), but it was difficult to wash our hands. It was not an issue because we bought 2 soap bars from the supermarket in the first day. Also in the first day the owner warned us about not leaving entrance doors open at all. The mice can get inside if they smell food. Taking a walk to the closest taverna in the same evening, we saw a rat crossing the road, not far from the property. So he was right. The next evening we also heard fizzle sounds in the bushes around, so it is true there shouldn't be any food or trash left outside and the doors should be kept closed. A useful information I think can be about the acces to the villa. It is made on a very steep slope, can be discouraging, but the mixture put on the road is remarkable. Very adherent, we didn't have any problems although we had a 2WD car with no hill assist function and sometimes we left the house after it rained, so it was wet. But I never stopped in between on that slope. Also turning the car around at the property can be a challenge if you drive a big or long vehicule or if there are 2 cars there in the same time.

Positive: A charming villa on the hill with very nice view to Aegean, you need a small car becose the access is a little bit narrow, but it's something normal for an island. Nikos the owner is very nice guy, helping us with all informations we need about tavernas, rent a car, boat trips, etc......we'll definitely return in the future.
